Instagram is a great tool to get the word out about your service or product. Add instagram stories and ads to the mix, and you’ve managed to engage in one of the most powerful marketing tools out there. You have the ability to reach over 500 million people just with a clear message and engaging content.
Of course, to reach 500 million people may be a bit cost prohibitive. The good news is, you can set your budget, timeline and objective for exactly what you want to accomplish. Instagram has seven objectives that everyone should follow in order to launch a successful instagram campaign.
Reach: Show your ad to as many people as possible
Video Views: Encourage as many people as possible to view your video
Traffic: Send the most amount of traffic to your website
Conversation: Drive conversations by encouraging email sign-ups or sales
Mobile App Installs: If you have an ap - get users to download and install
Lead Generation: Open up a lead generation form that automatically fills out users information
Style: Use one of the objectives above to determine the style of your ad
When it comes to advertising on social media, first impressions are everything. You need to develop a brand voice, and create ad content that speaks to that voice. Use of white space is key, but don’t clutter your ad with a lot of content. Your message should be easy and simple to understand. Short tag lines are best. That also helps you to balance and manage the aesthetic of your ad. Don’t forget the most important aspect of any ad, your logo. Your logo should be front and center. Always visible to the user and easily identifiable.
